Since delivery I have a sound that I cannot locate and haven't seen anyone else with something similar, hoping someone who knows the interior trim better can give me new ideas of where to check.

This sound only occurs on fairly hard left/right turns, never on acceleration or deceleration. The best description is it sounds like a little metal ball rolling through a plastic area. Location wise it sometimes sounds like it's under the shifter linkage area but it really does sound like it goes door to door when I'm turning. It doesn't sound big, sounds like a small ball bearing, it sounds like it's right there in the cabin.

If it sounds like it goes door to door, under the shift linkage maybe something loose on the undertray - like a screw or a pebble?

Could literally be a bolt or nut loose in one of the cross-body channels. Or something in the undertray. Start with the latter to investigate.

I have something that 'liberated' within the headliner that wanders during lateral g. 17 months with the car now and never been back to the dealer for any updates, so at some point I'll book it in and hope they do a great job lowering and reinstalling the liner to see what's what. No other noises apart from the exciting ones...

on my last oil change my mechanic complimented me for really driving the car. he said I had quite the collection of rocks under my rear under tray!
