Being the wheel whore that I am, I'm going with Forgeline. @kitkat tell me I'm wrong.

That’s what they’re based on — Forgeline GS1R — but they’re actually from RA Forged in China.

I had them design a version of the wheel with a balance of concavity and lug pocket depth in the rear and a flat face up front with a lug pocket maximized up front all to clear brakes. They nailed it and gave me 4-5 mm clearance to the brake edge as indicated in my diagram.

6061-T6, came out to a 15.92 lbs reduction over stock wheels.

Price was around $1500 DDP (delivery duties paid) plus shipping costs ($250 sea or $650 air).

I’ll be working on some magnesium 18” track wheels next.

Those look great! Thank you for the photos.

I have wondered what a fine machine/polished aluminum wheel would look like on our cars.

The finish on these is pretty unique, the spoke sides themselves are as machined and the face is diamond cut -- and then the whole thing is cleared. Don't think I've seen anything like it on the market before, what attracted me to them.

That`s actually not a bad price.

That is a very cool finish. And the concavity in the rear is very nice.

KitKat, you must have an extremely high Mensa score😊

Bravo. Well done! You’re saying the cost for 4 was under $2k??

Let us know what you decide with the 18" magnesium track wheels. I would like to order a set with you. I'm sure many others would as well and maybe we can do a group buy. Have you figured out what has to be done with parking brake so we can slap these suckers on with some slicks?
What design did you have in mind?

Parking brake relocation kit CNCed prototype arrives tomorrow and I will be test fitting it and from there Suntory will be making a batch of them and selling them.

Magnesium wheels I’m still working out how much tire I want to add up front or if keeping stock widths. Thinking of just possibly matching the GT4 sizes. Wheel style still uncertain — make some suggestions as to what you like.

Ok everybody, we’ve stroked his ego enough. No more (deserved) admiration or praise until he shows us more photos of his wheels mounted on his car.
I don’t even have any 18” wheels to test fit either except for maybe some Tesla wheels 😂

So excited you figured out how to get the 18" wheels to fit. Was at Lime Rock yesterday.
Slick tires, better coilovers and Girodisc rotors are definetly a must.
Please post a special thread when you have more details.
Is there a website where we can see what they offer?
If we send them any wheel design can the match it in magnesium?
Do they also offer forged magnesium which is less expensive?

This is what my Rotora race pads looked like after 2 track days. The drivers side was almost gone and I've never seen this type of wear on one side before. Piston was not stuck because I changed the pads back to stock at the track. Dropped of the car at the shop today so they can figure it out.
Has anyone ever seen this and what can cause this? Car always went into limp mode after around 7 laps, but it was over 95 degrees. So I went off right away and drove it 5 minutes to cool down. Turned off ignition and then limp mode came off when I restarted. The bad valve controller was changed, but the bank 2 oxygen sensor will be replaced this week. I hope when it's changed that car will stop going into limp mode. Has anyone else tracked a V6 with paddle shifters and gone into limp? mode? The dealer says some customers have tracked, but they had manual V6s, and no one has gone into limp mode.

I have tracked a v6 auto, didn't go into limp mode, temps were in the 70-80's, didn't do really long sessions but it's road Atlanta and its looooong back straight. I also had a bad bank 2 02 sensor as soon as I drove off the lot. :( Changed it before track day.
