Introducing the QUADloc for Lotus Emira V6 & Turbo

Notice that the harness bar is angled down. If you were to crash, the harness pulls forward on it, making it want to rotate down and forward. Those delrin pegs will get in the way of the rotation by pushing down and forward on the window housing - which makes me wonder, what's behind the plastic? I'm the sort of person to go look in there before putting in this harness bar. The baby seat latches are strong enough to support a seat in a collision, though, so I'm sure they'll work fine.

... speaking of, why do we have a baby seat anchor behind the driver seat? :)

And also possibly crack the window?

The factory rool hoop is behind the plastic trim. This is what gave me the confidence to use the Delrin Cam Lock rods as our Primary antirotation device. See below:

Ambidexterous chassis is the reason for the child seat anchors.

And also possibly crack the window?
No reason to crack your window, But that would be the least of your issues if you crashed the car hard enough to rotate the bar.
There was enough clearance between the delrin rod and the glass to eliminate any worries about cracking the window during normal use, even a hard tug on the harness bar during extreme braking.

Whats the cost on shipping this to the UK?
Customs charges involved too?

I'm not sure if we have any equivalent vendors here in the UK doing the same?

I don't think their website handles overseas (from the US) shipping yet. The current protocol is to reach out via e-mail to info@inokinetic.com for a quote with shipping. Not sure how they handle customs (import taxes) in the UK, but I was billed separately by the carrier.

Yes, please send us your shipping info and we will quote shipping. info@inokinetic.com. Duties/taxes will be levied to you, by the carrier, upon delivery.

Installed my Quadloc Harness Bar yesterday. Using the instructions posted on Inokinetic website, took less than 30 minutes to install. Super easy.
Harness bar is super stealth and sits clear out of the way against firewall.
