We are such small market sure we are at the back of the line
I think there is 6 dealers in Canada.
Each dealer have a potential of selling 25 to 40 cars per year.
That mean 175-240 cars per year.
They expect to sell 1600 -1700 cars in North America per year.
So that means we represent a small 13%-15% of the North America sale.
Porsche sold 301 Cayman in 2020 in Canada.
I think Lotus sell only around 150-250 Evora GT in USA per year.

Look at the picture and tell me if that would make any sense if the Emira FE V6 was priced 125 000$CAD ?

Using math a 108-113k target for the FE based on the comparisons would be inline with typical market adjusted pricing of other brands, but who are we to apply logic to dealer science?

I hope your right. I just would like to know. This is like torture every morning wake up and wonder if today is the day. Pricing would be nice anytime now. Lol

FWIW, in 2015 when I bought our Alfa Romeo 4C, the CDN equivalent launch edition price was 14% more than the US. Using that math, $93,900 = $107,000

We are those going to spends 130K-140K and make their story a success collectively. We are those, early adopters that gives our trust to the brand on a 100% new product that usually car expert do not recommend to buy a new car the first year it comes out, we are those that will go to car and coffee and promote the car, the brand. I am the one making lot of sacrefice in my personnal life to be able to get their car because I deeply love the brand. We are just asking for equity just like the other market in the world after all.

It make a lot of sense with all the other brands I had checked/calculated a +15%-16% difference with usa pricing.

But when I do look at Jaguars with the F-Type, another small british maker, the math gives 114 700$. A bit higher but still reasonnable ! The 125K range is just ridiculous for us.

Agreed. I could see $125-130k being the out the door total. Maybe that was Gentry Lane’s intention with that number.

At least if they could give us a date.

Lotus of Vancouver told me friday october 1st it was going to be the next week but it passed and nothing happened. Lack of communication from the top to the bottom.

Man even New Zealand got their pricing haha I'm losing it here, how's everyone else holding up in Canada? If anyone in Vancouver wants to vent together and yell running down a street let me know?🤬🤪🤯

I saw last week the Autralian pricing.
Does the New Zealand pricing are the same like below ?

172 000 For a Base Cayman GTS 4.0
184 990 For a Lotus Emira FE V6 well equipped
206 600 For a base Cayman GT4

I did a quick check and almost answered to myself.

NZD is a different currency than AUD.

Cayman GTS 4.0 = 170 200 NZ$ including 15% GST
Emira FE V6 = Unknown ( Let us Know if you got that number. )
Cayman GT4 = 211 000 NZ$ including 15% GST

How many of you are planning on using the Emira as a year round daily driver winter included?

Will be a car for weekends, scenic drives and weekend getaways. The odd car meet as well. As much as I would like to use it year round I think I will let it hibernate over the winter and use the truck.
