First oil change - few metal flakes in filter

Most of my new cars have had spin-on oil filters, and I never cut them open.

Is this just the manufacturing debris being worked out, or is this a problem? Sending a sample to blackstone, but thought I'd ask here as well.

Found a small number of metal flakes (~6-8) in the pleats - picture below has one circled in red. The lighting is tricky - none of the other shiny things are
metal, just wet oil reflecting. Car has 440 miles...

The Lisle offset funnel was a big help in putting oil back in.

Yes on a brand new engine that's normal. That's the wear-in particulate, and demonstrates why it's a great idea to change the oil and filter after the first 500-1000 miles. The filter only catches some of it.
 
Here's a picture of what was in the oil drain pan when I did mine right after the break-in period. Those flecks aren't gold.
