No. The planned Esprit re-birth would have been an epic V8 or V10 using either a BMW or Lexus engine. The Evora was done as an interim bridge to get a car to market quickly while they reworked the Esprit project. It would have used the same Versatile Vehicle Architecture as the Evora, so would have had some shared DNA with Evora and Emira.

Yes I'd read that before. But I'm talking Emira small block V8 and i4. Make more sense being a luxury car then also
