Exposed gear linkage

Hi anybody think the emira fe would be great with the gear linkage exposed and some of the parts anodised. Nice touch that wouldn't cost much just to show the car is a first edition.

The gear linkage IS exposed on the Emira FE......

I know but I meant fully exposed with no gaiter and some colour to show it of as the last manual ice car they will ever make. In the flesh I thought it looked good but the mesh and gaiter hide it away a bit.

I doubt it would get through any safety testing without a mesh covering it! Good way for a child to lose a finger...

Please post a photo of the manual linkage if you have one

I have been searching everywhere on this forum and the internet for a photo of the visible linkage with the manual. Please post a photo if you have one I would love to see how it looks.

And yes, I would definitely do that to mine if I can figure out how to remove the leather cover and mesh. Would be bad ass.

I'm sure removal of both would be easy and a simple 3D printed part around where the gaiter is removed, to hide the rough edges, would be easy to make. I'll offer up my design and printing skills!
