EVAP system - charcoal canister issue

I got my car back.
Here is what stated on the work order - ECM-P045100 and ECM-P044600 stored active. Fault tracing with Lotus FTS lead to the discovery of fuel bleeding into EVAP canister via EVAP tank valve.
Replaced EVAP canister and EVAP valve as per FTS.
I will have to drive the car for 50 miles or so to see if the check engine light returns but Lotus is positive the issue has been resolved.

A data point - it took almost 2 weeks to get the canister from the UK. The valve was available at the dealer.
i have the same issue with my car. Code P0415 evap sensor CEL . I have installed eventuri Intake and 3rd cat delete with miltek sensor. If I have to take it to the dealer, should I put it back to stock before I put in for service? I'm just worried that after market parts would void any warranty.

Depends on if your dealer is one of the friendly or stick to the rules kind. Officially you'll at least put a "who is at fault" on the table if you keep it modified.
Various text from Lotus side suggest any modification will void all warranty - but this is gonna be hard to argue and actually put in action
I would err on the side of caution.
I'm on my 3rd charcoal canister waiting for the 4th to arrive at the dealer (Apparent there is a new version hopefully with some design issue addressed), I have also had a sensor replaced (I think the original sensor was probably fine since I still have the same issue I had at the start).
Anyone with these strange EVAP issue actually get them fix or are we all still visiting the garage??

The fix seems to just be replace with a shortened hose and pray it doesn't happen again.
Mine was fixed first time.
When you are filling up at the petrol station, do you continue to top off the tank after the pump auto shuts off or do you stop?
Secondly, do you drive the car often or does it sit for periods of time?
Just curious if there are trends we can correlate with.

I don’t top off (in NJ we are not even allowed to pump our own gas but I tell the attendants not to top off). I drive the car during the warmer months, and the remaining gas is sitting all winter in the tank.
Had this fault pop up for the first time on mine last weekend. This thread was really useful in quickly understanding if this was a big deal or not, so thankyou again to the forum 
It's going in for its second year service in a couple of weeks anyway, so will report back if anything meaningful comes out of that investigation. Been using the car less than usual over the last couple of months, but it has been out several times over the last few weeks for a good brisk run before this cropped up. Don't usually fill past the first click, but notably I did give one brief extra squirt on the most recent fill (but the fault didn't fire until days / a few trips later).
Would a bit of hard cornering with a full tank make this more likely to happen?

I have never filled beyond the click at the pump, I do note that on the third canister I had installed it lasted the longest without issue, I can't say for sure but... I didn't spend much time in track mode like I was before, it defiantly also tends to crop up when the tank is full (But I guess that makes sense... more fuel more vapour expansion to deal with??) Its kind of guess work but my money is on some kind of over filling issue in the design, its really not good enough from lotus but at risk of dealing with this forever I'm not going to fully fill my tank when I next get it fixed.
Also a symptom beyond the CEL... I guess the vent to atmosphere valve can cycle when the canister is full of fuel because my cabin and engine bay stink of fuel at the moment after it spat out a bunch of petrol near the rear left tire where the vent vale is, second time that has happened as well.
First time lotus owner the love / hate is real. Such a great car but its just luck of the draw if yours has been built correctly or not....
