Hi all,

Did a search and couldn't see anything. Mine have ben pretty ropey since new, stiff and noisey

I often drive on my own so the passenger one is barely used yet it's completely broken and the mirror has fallen apart. My driver's one, which gets the most use isn't broken, but it really is hard to move and makes a loud squeak.

Reported it to the dealer but I'm putting it away for the winter so it will be a next year repair but just wanted to make sure they are aware it's happened well in warranty (although mine has 4 years).

Cheers,

James

After a few weeks squeaky, they will become loose and dangle in front of you, obscuring the front view...
I am having mine replaced under warranty ==> Visors don't stay up

Interesting - I've not had that issue, just the fact they're incredibly stiff (and passenger one is buggered) and I'd be surprised to see them dangle when you have to really give them some force to get them moving. It's not a nice sound on the passenger one as it's all crunchy etc.!!

I will get some photos/vids and upload.

Mine was stiff. Now it doesn't fully close and has some 'play' movement in the closed position and bounces on bumps.
It's better to not use them and have them closed securely than have them come loose and flap around.

A really shit design by Lotus. Even the cheapest of cheap cars have sun visors that don't break after being used 5 times.
