Emira JB4 Tuning Now Available for I4 & V6 Cars!

JUBU vented louvre already solves this problem after you remove the rear windshield
The carbon looks cool but some want to be able to see out the back and into the engine bay still so we are trying to do a clear replacement instead.

@GRP Any news on JB4 shipments? My order with you is now sitting at 30 days and counting.
Waiting on Burger to get us more still. They had indicated we would have them last week but it didn’t happen, hoping for this week now. We have emailed for an update again today as well.
You are #1 on the list right now so you have waited the longest of anyone with a pending order, sorry.

…… uhh knock knock?
Yeah, certainly the concern, but Burger said they would want “additional testing” to determine if that happened (specifically using 92 vs 93). In most cars the ecu would limit power slightly on lower octane to prevent knocking, but not sure if that’s the case with a tune.

Burger isn't a tune though. That's the issue. All they have done is "fib" about select sensor input to the ECU. The ECU is doing all the rest of the work.

I think from Burgers perspective it's "ok" to run on more aggressive maps even if you don't have the fuel type to support it because the engine will still be doing all the factory engine protections. But, in practice that means the engine will experience knock events until the point which the ECU intervenes. Likely by pulling timing advance until knock events stop, or by dumping in fuel, or both. (Fuel will push the engine out of optimal power but ensures the engine isn't leaning out and causing too much heat which will increase pre-det.)

28 days and counting for me. Something seems amiss here. If none were shipped last week, wondering if Burger hit the pause button to make some updates/improvements before sending out additional batches? Perhaps our friends here from Burger can provide some transparency?

With the irony being I live a few miles from Burger however because of CARB rules, product has to be shipped to Nevada only to be shipped back to me in CA.

I feel like Draggy runs is going to be such a bad way to identify the improvements. It's so highly variable on driver, conditions, etc. Are you really going to be satisfied with seeing a 0.2 second improvement on 0-60 when a completely stock 0-60 is variable within that range and beyond to begin with?

Yeah. I tend to believe the arse dyno as a more reliable measure of improvement rather than some phone sitting on the dash.

I offered my V6 auto up for testing to Burger but was told they are too busy to do it. I decided to just go ahead and order a JB4 anyway and will install it when I get it and report back on any issues I encounter.
To follow up on this, I have a JB4 installed on my V6 auto now. I haven't had the opportunity to really push it hard yet or mix up some 93 to try map 2, but my butt dyno says it definitely feels a bit quicker on map 1 with 91. I've got about 40 miles on it and no issues so far with map 0 or map 1.

And here I was thinking it didn’t work on an Auto, and the unit was a pike of junk.
