Emira JB4 Tuning Now Available for I4 & V6 Cars!

Oh man I'm late to the party but I caught up after 25 pages of reading :)
Thank you all for the kind words and support! We're doing our best in getting the V6 JB4 systems out in the order they come in.
As stated, a couple have gotten through while I have been making the batches for Greg@GRP.

Rest assured that we will get them all out in a timely manner and are almost caught up. The lead times will be less than 2 weeks from the time of order, till you get it to your doorstep.

I4 systems are ready to go! FWIW, with the JB4 installed on map 4 with e30 blend fuel. The car felt like my Mclaren 570s with the huge added gains.
I couldn't believe those little 4 bangers could make that much power. Looking forward to play with Kazs car when he comes in with the methanol kit!

PS, I saw talks about heatsoak on the SC when running more boost. You can run our BMS WMI kit and have the JB4 system control it. Put a mid-size nozzle in the intake system with 100% water or 50/50 mix (Water/methanol) and you'll be gold.
Any v6 owners planning to get the WMI kit? Wondering how the tank install would be in a car that already has limited space

I4 here but non the less tank would fit in the trunk just fine. I believe someone has already mocked up a two gallon tank.

Very helpful that @Coreyalert3 has posted this detail and taken one for the team!

It’s clear that he has been quite gentle with the launch (understandably) if I’m reading the 0-60 time of 5.13 correctly.
I’ve managed a 4.80 with a totally stock car without being too brutal and others have done under 4.40 (measured with Dragy).

This suggests a time of low 12s or even better should be possible with this car with the ECU tune, and when you take the gearbox and slow shifting into account that’s pretty rapid.

On another track. Are those who ordered early getting their JB4 units?
It’s gone dark for me. I was in the second wave of deliveries group. I’m getting a bit impatient with the wait. I’ve also stopped driving my car due to lack of interest in driving it without the upgraded power. :(

Yours is shipping tomorrow.
Our last update that you would be in the second wave last week was based on a previous update from Burger stating they would have another 20 kits sent out but they were only able to send 12. We have a bunch more arriving tomorrow and yours will ship immediately.
My email to you on the 28th stated this same info, maybe you missed it though.

With a proper launch (I’ll advised), that would seem to put the car in the low 12s with an even higher trap speed! Nice!

My stage 2 (downpipe and flash) '06 STi ran 12 flat in the 1/4 mile with street tires and that trans could take 6k clutch dumps all day long. I know the Lotus platform isn't built for drag racing, but it's a hard pill to swallow considering it was a $30k 4 door Subaru and these are $100k+ exotic sportscars. 🙃

Anyway.. Back on topic..

This is what inflation has done to the value of our dollar. Your $30,000 in 2006 is worth $47,589.14 today. Put another way, our $100k sports cars today would have cost $63,039.60 in 2006.

Agreed. I bought my Evora NA back in 2011 for $66k (@ 100K in todays $) My new Emira was $98K. The Emira has so many more features and is much more refined than my Evora. I was surprised the Emira did not cost more.
Evora
No cruise control
AC was more of a suggestion than an effective cooling device
A bit "KItcar" interior with nice leather
no heated seats
Infotainment?? Single din off the shelf radio with 2 speakers
Fit and finish? back to my kitcar statement
power was only about 280

I was glad to pay $66k with all the shortcomings because the car was a sublime driver. Was never into the HP wars. I always admired the Miata guys at the track with their 150hp lapping the parade lapping Lambos. The Evora was the Miata car turned up to 11.
The Emira does all that and more for about the same price adjusted for inflation. Maybe a bit of the edge was lost but the car is still sublime and a joy to drive hard or just cruise.

I had an ‘04 STi with a similar build and same performance at the strip. Great car, uncatchable on a back road.

More sauce has arrived.
Shipping all of these out today 👍🏻
