Anyone had a good way to fix a broken wing mirror? Mirror part seems heavy, and will not stay in place when I try to glue it back. Looking for suggestions from those that may have unfortunately had the same thing happen.

Thanks

Happened to me. Glued it on, but left tape to support it. And I think I tilted the car to have it balance (center of gravity)

Are you trying 'instant' or fast drying CA/superglue? It should dry almost immediately when you touch the two parts together. hold in place for a few seconds while it cures.

Sometime CA/Superglue refuses to set especially on plastic if you can't get it air-tight. You can use baking-soda as an accelerator to harden the glue - just hold teh two glued pieces together and then sprinkle some baking soda on. The glue should harden almost instantly.
