This spec also needs a black button with black text explaining what it does and a black light to let you know when you’ve pressed it…….

I suspect that a simple small thump with the heel of your hand would pop the fastener for that all the way back in.....

Or use something like mp3tag or even iTunes (if you must!) to add track numbers in the metadata - this may work if that's where the audio unit is looking…. This also allows album art embedding into individual song files which may speed things up… My "local" music on iPhone is curated using this...

8-10 hour fix - see my earlier post #55 in this thread…… The dealer techs do get quicker with practice…..

When I collected my car (ex-dealer demo car 3 months old and only 250 recorded miles with working HVAC) my 200 mile journey home was mostly in pouring rain and heavy road spray. The fan resistor pack gave up within a few days of that…..

£14k :oops: or £1.4k ?- it's around 10 hours labour maximum and a £40 part for the HVAC resistor replacement, plus the new rubber shield..... £14k sounds like either a LOT or a typo.....

Probably not the only reason, but Lotus were supposed to be building three new factory units at Hethel - one of which was to be the Type 135 assembly line, and the others a logistics warehouse and staff building - but there has been a bureaucratic delay (sound familiar?) in the granting of...

Having them together sort of defeats the object of the tracker - especially is the car is stolen with keys. Probably better to use the Lotus Scorpion smartphone app (settings, Phone Tag = Enable, at least in the iOS version) and leave the actual fob locked away at home if you can...

If history is any guide to the future, I wouldn't hold my breath until such parts are (maybe?) available for future models, at which time they'll appear in the parts catalogue (which hasn't even appeared online in Lotus customer portals yet for the V6 FE....)

If you don't want to have to rely on a mobile signal (i.e. have local, downloaded apps and just rely on GPS signal) I've found the Sygic app to work very well as an alternative to Google Maps or Waze - there's a free trial and a small annual subscription with worldwide maps included...

V6 FE 2.0 is a non-official designator which refers to the second allocation batch of V6 FE's for the North American market only. It's nothing to do with the AMG 2.0 litre engine variant! The second allocation batch of V6 FE's for N America had access to the 7 additional colours launched around...

I've kept this cheap accordion-style one from my Evora - pretty confident that it will fit the Emira too but I'm in the UK and it's only April....

Emiras are currently being produced at the full rate of 22 cars per day at Hethel. Ordering and parts supply to production and aftersales have always been different processes - this is more likely the issue.....
