Do we know how long the delay is roughly for the auto boxes?

I've always liked that Lotus drivers flash each other as they drive past - I wonder if those buying an Emira will continue to follow suit or think that it's odd. I tried doing it in my Aston Martin when I first got it which failed miserably haha...!

I had my call yesterday too which was the same. Deposit 8 July early evening.

Does the leathershield change the smell of the leather/interior after it's cured/dried? I'd want to enjoy that 'new car smell' for as long as possible rather than diluting it with the smell of a cleaning product!

Given the lightness , and slight extra power of the Exige I find that astonishing too!

So if you have a peronalised registration plate, can you give Lotus the retention certificate and they'll put your plate on the car from new registration? Has that been confirmed by anyone with Lotus?

Also do we know how the cars go from Hethel - Oxford - dealer/you? On transportation or driven? I'd rather that mine was not driven along the way...

I echo your comments. Plus, what I don't understand is why none of the cars are running around with the First Edition wheels? Presumably testing would be required to see how they perform given that they're lighter than the base wheels?!

Is it just me or have there been no communications regarding service packs for the Emira? Seems slightly strange as I thought most new cars were sold these days with the ability to purchase e.g. 3 or 5 year service packs.

Do we know what the running in procedure will be for the Emira? I assume similar to that of an Evora or Exige? This might open up a can of worms regarding whether running in is even necessary on modern engines! :ROFLMAO:

Whilst I'm thoroughly embarrassed to share the same spec as him (though I have no black pack), I was just curious if anyone else on here has gone for this colour combo or will I be the only one?

I've gone for the Ice Grey with Hethel Yellow! For me I felt it would be a nice way to brighten up the interior a little with a lighter colour, and I wasn't sure that the tan would go well with the yellow. I've also had a succession of black-interior'd cars so fancied a change!

Ditto, I've got a friend who isn't on any of the forums that's got a green, black alcantara and silver wheels example coming in June, so I can see if he can make this meet!

It'll be interesting to see when us July delivery customers who plan to attend this meet will get our cars. Hopefully mine comes in time for the meet!

Definitely up for that. I'm July delivery with Hethel Yellow, silver wheels and grey interior. Agreed with the above, directions to a meeting place that avoids the bridge for those who aren't local would be good.

My UK website still says Spring 22, but the colours have indeed been updated!
