The clip holds the diffuser end to the black glossy trim piece that runs the length of the bumper found between the bumper and diffuser. The boot/L shaped plastic item is a cap of the previously mentioned black glossy trim piece found on each end. Specifically, it goes right behind your rear tire. Look under there and you should see one side is covered and the other one is not (because you have it in the pic). I only know because mine fell off as well. I crazy glued it back on.OK....all good here.
More driving over the weekend and as GB and others have said....just leave it open all the time.
Thanks for your help. I'm happy with the tunes the exhaust now plays.
Install went well and, on reassemble, I only had a few parts in my tray that could not find a home.
Thanks again.

Not an option on Emira. The valve position is monitored continuously and will throw errors. So I just unplugged it and left it open permanently
at idle, I see it slightly open in sport and track mode compared to touring but not open all the way. No idea at different rpms. I would assume it automatically opens up to 100% at higher rpmswhen in standard track mode is it open 100%? So if changing the exhaust but keeping the valve stock would be the same as adding the Milltek controller?
Anyone not have a “closed” mode on theirs? Not a big deal since I wouldn’t really use it, but I don’t hear the valve moving between options 2 and 3 on mine.
