I just finished the install of my Tillett carbon buckets with custom leather matched pads. Couldn’t be happier with the results (looks and comfort).

Greg was great to deal with. Always responsive to questions and willing to talk through seat siding with me. Thanks for the great customer service.

Anyone considering this seat upgrade should do it IMMEDIATELY. Way better seating position, more lateral support in turns, and more connection with the car—I can actually feel the engine vibrations as I row the gears which is an unanticipated but very welcome experience.

Looks great! I’ve got the same exact setup just waiting for me to install them. I told myself I can only work on one car at a time, and I’m still not done modding my Miata. Any issues with the passenger side or with the install to look out for?

The install was straightforward. Putting together the new seat mounting hardware is a bit fiddly and the written instructions could be a bit more clear. But there are good videos on YouTube that walk through the steps quite clearly. I don’t run into any issues.

The most stressful part is adhering the pads to the seat. The instructions recommend using blue painters tape to mark where the pads go before install. That certainly helps. But it’s also necessary to bend the pads like a taco a bit to ensure the tape on the outer edges of the seat don’t latch on before the center of the pad has a chance to sit fully into the seat.

This makes it sound harder than it is. Took about 30 mins all in to install the pads. But you just have to move slowly, carefully, and deliberately.
