Shift Knob Replacement

After talking to a fellow Emira owner in person about the knob, I think I may try to pick one up as well.

I like the size of the factory knob, but something a little heavier so the action isn't as notchy would be great.

A bit off topic but... one of the coolest shift knobs I have ever seen, originally equipped on a 1934 Packard.

Who was this other mystery emira owner? Good to meet you Read!

I'm half-tempted to do small-batch production runs of the knobs I make -- clearly there are lot of folks who want a more satisfying shift knob -- but turning them on my manual lathe would be time-consuming.

Maybe I need to buy a CNC lathe, too.
