NEW CEL CODES P2097 & P2196

What’s the consensus on the “preferable” code to run around with? Assuming I can’t adjust it out, I can either take out spacers and run P0420 or add one and run P2270 lean.
I had both those running and others at the same time it didn't have any effect on my car at all, even on the (very slight) burbling I have on downshifts and decel

I guess I’ll trial and error it. There’s a pretty drastic change in sound on mine when I throw a lean code.

I’ve had some luck recently with a modified straight spacer. Both permanent P0420 and P2097 codes are gone, and no new pending codes. Happy days.

This is what ended up working for me (so far). I did drill out the opening. Installed and off I went. Few hundred miles later and I’m finally starting to feel a bit confident. Right after install I started throwing a new P0420, but I let it ride. A few sessions later; i could tell by the sound alone I was looking good, but when i did scan I was very surprised to see a completely clear screen, it’s been awhile since the permanent codes were clear. Car sounds and runs very nicely now. I’ll report back if and when I see any changes. I spend most of my time in Track, btw.
