Lotus Emira V6 ECU Tune - Bench Flash

Thanks for the FUD. Literally none of what you just said will happen.
Serious? You haven`t even seen me give you a FUD yet. What I was trying to say before you got your di@k in a knot was that most people are not comfortable with sending their ecu to anyone by mail to have it "tampered" with. So I was saying that`s why most seem to be going with the piggy "solution". It`s not perfect, but it is easily reversible, and you can still use your car while you wait for fedex to deliver it back to you all fixed up. So if you want to compete with such a product, you may have to look at what other options you have to remove this road block.
I note that you are a supporting member. You don`t sound like one. Here down under, most Lotus owners watch what people like myself are doing...and then follow...It`s a big market down here..we`ve been at it for a lot longer than what the US crowd have been...just saying.

Read your own message. You have no experience at all with this upcoming product and just spreading fear about failures, limp modes, problems, etc etc.

You’re very clearly not interested so please go away. We get it, you love your JB4.

But you have no experience with this at all and you you talk about limp modes and problems and such.

Hmm... better read your own posts. I never said I "love" my JB4. I just gave you the reason why they got lots of units out. Your right. I think the way you respond to a bit of nudging give me a clue how you would deal with someone that had a problem with your product. I won`t slam the door on the way out. Good luck. I think you are going to need it.

You come in here and spread shit and blame me for the response you get to your own shit throwing.
Maybe do a little research before you say such things. Look at what we have done for the evora in such SHORT time since the release of our product.
1. Highest horsepower tuned Evoras on stock ECU / stock system ever
2. Smallest pulleys /highest boost on this supercharger... EVER
3. E30, E50, Tuning and Ethanol tuning
4. "brick wall rev limit" no longer existing
5. Fully compatible Plug and play CAN Flex Fuel system releasing in November.
6. Fast flashing of the ECU (15 seconds)
7. Bluetooth Logging via your phone
8. First company to release a upgraded supercharger lid with documented gains.
and the list goes on.

And we released our first Evora product this year....
All of this will be coming to the Evora if we see the same level of actual customer interest.

Like I said. I wish you well.

JUBU can say what they want, but it has been proven over, and over, and over again that the 2GRFE engine can handle WAY MORE power on stock engine than 460HP.

this has been proven years ago on MR2s.
We proved this on our own Evora running 7400 RPM on the track all summer with a high boost pulley, making over 580HP on race gas.

Many things JUBU says or posts are shown to be wrong if you look at what these engines do OUTSIDE of the lotus community.
I think it’s TQ they say is the issue. Can you share TQ gains for each set up as you did on the first post?

Supporting and following to see how this goes! This seems awesome and lots of power and hope it goes well! I’m on the JUBU 460 and I would be potentially interested in this, as I been planning on the 530 JUBU.

I would like to see remote tuning sessions at some point to fix or correct potential issue if it comes up. Would be nice “security measure” so we don’t have to send ECU back for analysis or adjustments. Some people have had great luck with JB4, JUBU and others needed some adjustments and some unfortunately not so good outcomes so that is my only concern as we have seen the variables from tuning no matter the vendor. Hope you can do this at some point I know it’s not easy ask.

Lastly…..Admins let’s calm down on the JUBU stuff it’s getting out of hand, JB4 mentioned here multiple times yet that wasn’t alarmed or flagged. I read each post and people can voice their concerns and see how it compares to others. I a JUBU supporter, love what I see here but I see a very distinct step ins on multiple threads when JUBU gets brought up. My recommendation is to keep personally feeling out of decisions.

@VF Tuner looking forward to your success especially being in the US!

Once they see an emira on dyno, not exploding, making more power than jb4 w higher redline, they will start buying.

I agree with this. People are hesitant because they haven't seen it fully implemented on a USDM Emira and running/operating reliably. Until people see that, they make the assumption that the product does not yet exist.

I'm very excited to see this come to fruition and can't wait to see results.

Administrative action is taken when people drive a thread off topic. It has nothing to do with the particular vendor, it has to do with the disruption. And those types of moderation actions will absolutely continue to keep this forum orderly and conflict at a minimum wherever possible. Please help us with that goal wherever you can.

Ahh! I apologize we shipped you a kit...before getting your ECU. (we had nearly 70 orders to ship yesterday...not emiras though. It accidentally got included)

We are working on flash support so you will need that kit (to flash new tunes). But we will need the ECU too. I will email you.
