I would like to put protective mats in my Emira. I have checked WeatherTech and others and I can't find any for sale. Has anyone found some to buy? Or have you found something which fits closely or is best to buy and trim to fit?

I'm also talking with them and they did say that their mats covered the door sill area. Interesting that they are having a fitment challenge, they didn't mention that when I emailed with them on Thursday.

I sent them pictures today of the rear parcel shelf, hopefully they will integrate that area into their design as a "rear" mat.
Thanks Porter. I emailed "Witimats" on May 10, telling them to put my order "on hold" until they'd figured out the proper Emira dimensions, or refund my money if that didn't happen in the next month. They responded promptly the next day:

Sorry for the inconvenience.
Our designers are working on the layout and expect to be working on it in a week or so.
So you no longer need to scan it and we'll put your order on hold for now.
Once the pattern is made we will customise the footbed for you.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us, we are more than happy to serve.

Hopefully we'll get proper mats soon and I'll let everyone knows how this works out, although having a vehicle to check their fit would be a welcome bonus. Since you've already got your Emira, perhaps you'll be the first to let us know how the mats fit/look (please post pics; TY).

Coco Mats will not break down if you choose their man made fibers and not the actual coca plant fibers. You can choose your own color - or two colors to match your car. They will create a mat to fit whichever template you send them.

Have you (or anyone) received their new-layout mats? The mats look like they can be ordered off their site, but I want to be sure they have the fitment sorted out.

Here it is..

No mats received yet. They've got my money so I'm expecting once they figure out proper fit, they'll let me know my order is being processed. I'll post here, once I get the mats and try them out. My car is set to arrive in 2 weeks, so I'll be able to "test them out".

OK, thanks!

Witamats.com has made some terrific mats for me in the past. Their Emira mats are being finalized right now. They expect to ship within 1 week. I will report back when they arrive.

Anyone getting rubber mats that make cleaning up easier? The other mats looks nice they would be just as much of pain to clean without a vacuum
Yes, I absolutely agree with you Blackthought.
As a constructive criticism to all on this thread, may I suggest that when you post yor replies that you identify the type/material of floor mats and liners you are suggesting/recommending? I say this because we seem to be going on different tangents. From the initial post by Orange, like me and others, he is seeking all weather rubber mats and not other types suggested from Coco Mats, Hideandseam, Witamats etc. I don't care much for the looks of stitched mats and liners offered by these manufacturers, but most importantly, they don't offer the humidity protection, functionality and ease-of-cleaning that rubber/synthetic ones do. To be clear, Rubber mats/liners will never be as easy on the eye as plush carpet ones, particularly when new. However, many auto manufacturers offer alternative all weather rubber mats that are a bit more elegant than general brands like Weathertech and include customized branding. I have 3 distinct vehicles in my household (Lexus SUV, 911 Carrera S and an MX-5 ND) all of which are I fitted with OEM accessory rubber mats that I purchased from the onset at the respective dealers. I happen to like the looks of all of them and certainly appreciate their practicality. For the life in me, I can't figure out why Lotus, a UK-based manufacturer of the EMIRA, doesn't offer rubber all weather mats as an OEM accessory. I live in Florida where the sunshine/rain ratio is practically inverse to that of the UK and despite this, most auto manufacturers here offer all weather rubber mats as an alternative. The reason for this cannot be that "Lotus is a small focused manufacturer" since under Geely, that argument doesn't hold water anymore and, regardless, these types of accessories are generally manufactured by third-party specialist companies who distribute similar products to many other auto brands.
Focusing back on what Orange, Blackthought (no pun intended) myself and perhaps others are seeking, we would appreciate if anyone could let us know of any breakthrough on the offer of custom-sized rubber all weather mats/liners and hopefully with the design extension upwards in to the footwell, which oddly the OEM carpet mats don't cover. Many thanks to all.

I think it clear if you follow the thread and look up the manufacturer ID'd and/or the photos supplied, which type of mat materials are being discussed. That said, I'll try to specify in any further posts on this thread, that I'm dealing with a "fibre mat" as opposed to a rubber mat, so it's an easier reference.

Like you, my habit is to put in "deeper" rubber mats in all my vehicles, to trap moisture, make it easier to clean, and last longer w/o damage (compared to a fibre material), since I live in a mixed climate with rain and snow, both of which can turn into mud on footwear. I plan to daily-drive my Emira "rain or shine" from Spring to late Fall (with the help of all-Seasons) so I'll get all sorts of weather. My order of a fibre mat set is an exception, but the appearance/colors available with Witimats, sold me on them. We'll see if I regret the decision.

I agree that Lotus should have rubber mats readily available, especially after this length of time since the release of the vehicle. To be fair, they do offer a "**premium**" set of floor mats (not anything for the trunk), which are included with every First Edition, but those are also fibre, so perhaps they thought that sufficient. Regardless of Geely and its size, it just doesn't seem to have considered "all the little details" when it comes to many things, including Emira accessories. Perhaps with increased vehicle sales creating a bigger accessory market, that will change. Either way, I assume the after-market crowd will step into any void and manufacture products we'd like to see (they usually do, given time), including rubber mats.

**Premium** mats described on the Emira configurator as: "Premium carpet over mats, designed inhouse by the Lotus design team, featuring an “Emira” centre band logo and black piped edging and stitching."
