📓 Journals kitkat's Emira

This prefix is only usable in the Lotus Emira Journals forum.
This finish will be available on all wheels thru Darkworks Design, looks like liquid metal. It's a hand polished raw aluminum which is then matte cleared over, takes a bunch of time to finish.

What are all your thoughts on this? I wanted to extend the see through action concept of the boot delete over to the shift knob itself by giving it some pockets.

I think it's beautiful. I'm actually not planning on the boot delete (grime concerns in the linkage outweighing aesthetics for me here), but I think this is gorgeous and does not have the same downsides.

Very nice design. How much does it lighten my pocketbook though?
Looks like we would need a batch order to make it worthwhile for the CAD setup.

I would probably have Darkworks Design make them, he makes all my other shift knob designs. I'm guessing pricing would be a little bit more expensive than the existing ones based on increased machine time and fixture setup.

And if I could anodize it purple... :-)

Does this design also include new release lever or is it just the knob?

This would work with the existing reverse lockout lever tube.

Looks awesome! I imagine it'd work on my GT too...

Looks great. Maybe make the triangle openings look like the outline of the lotus logo? Kinda like what they did with the exhaust tip perforations, you know?

I’d pay for it.

Very cool design, but my spring looks pretty crappy and the interfaces are scratched. Might need a new spring and more work to make it look great.

Darkwork Design was talking about getting some plated springs. Which interface is scratched?
