A few weeks later, how are you liking it? Do those feel like good rates for your use? So you still feel limited in height configuration? Or better now after some more time.

It honestly feels like stock stiffness but with better damping and less roll. I’ve been slowly moving towards good baseline settings for street, canyon and haven’t really run out of compression travel. Autox and track adjustments next.

Shot with the new wheels.

Whomever your photographer is kitkat deserves a heap of praise.

Do you mind providing a list of modifications that got you to 460 whp?

We have a handful of photographers up here in the Bay Area, CA that take photos on weekends, they're amazing people! The majority of my photos are from these two photographers.

Full disclosure on the 460whp, that's just the stated JB4 93 octane map claim that I sent over to Zygrene and Jubbal -- they present that information how they want :sneaky:. I know there's some criticism on actual results vs dyno claims and won't get into that. The car was running on mix of 91 and 100 octane (mostly 100) on a cool morning, one would hope actual results were pretty similar to claimed -- they both seemed impressed by the power. Mods are just 3rd cat, valve controller, and GRP blue air filter with the JB4.

It's all depends on how you did on your baseline but honestly I will take that with a grain of salt, simple bolt on with a piggyback would hardly give you a 100 hp gain. My custom ECU tune won't even give such a high number but what matter is you like the improvement and that is enough.

Btw, I have back to back dyno for stock, JB4, and custom ecu tune from my own car so I have a pretty good understanding of the performance from each of them.

Going to be doing some real world testing with the valve controller on track next month, I had to redesign it all because of inference with the GPS antenna around the pillar. Now I get a nice lock on 20+ GPS satellites within a minute or so.

Well VT Tuner can raise the limit (though 8000 is not realistic), so maybe a future upgrade :)

The wheels and how they are perfectly centered looks fantastic!

I’ll see how VT cars do and I’ll think about going that route. More than anything I think I want a less abrupt redline. This engine is very monotone and it’s hard to tell where redline is based on sound alone. I find myself hitting redline often on track.

I don't watch my shifter when I drive, but I can definitely notice the front/rear travel of your shifter as the driver loads and unloads the engine. 1). Think that movement is related to transmission mounts that could be more firm, and 2) (if so) do you think that movement correlates to this MT being slightly inconsistent when grabbing gears at different times?

Great video, thanks for setting that up. Still looking for my favorite wheel pattern but won't hesitate to use your dimensions.

Yeah i’ve seen varying amounts of fore-aft play from car to car. Lotus things LOL

I've noticed the same thing with judging where the redline is with just sound. I'll add that the wheels look great in the video.

I want a little higher redline, same as the Evora GT would be fine. But mostly I just hate how it cuts fuel. I want it to bounce on the rev limiter.

@kitkat

I like your design of mode controller on a screen like that. Do you have a diy guide on how to do this also? Thanks

Sorry there won’t be a guide on that one — it’s a combination of learning what signaling the valve controller uses, circuit design, 3d scanning, cad modeling, 3d printing, wiring and 5000+ lines of code.

Thanks for sharing your info and let Zygrene drive your car. So we can all be part of that transformation to a GT4 spec Emira. :)

Zygrene seems to be very impressed and also the torque of the engine seems to be more than enough, now. I would finally go that route, too. Get that Öhlins TTX and upgrade to Komo-Tec 475bhp setup with raised redline to 7100rpm.

What compression / rebound settings you are using for street driving at the moment? Zygrene mentions it twice in the video it could use a little more damping.

I know it from my BMW M2 F87 where I use the M-performance coilovers, it's always a tradeoff. As this is my daily driver I have chosen a rather soft damping that sometimes/very rarely is a little too soft in the twisties when you start really pushing it. But on the other hand in almost all other daily situations it is as compliant as it can get.
