Ok this is super random and pedantic, but how is that front wheel not blurry like the back one in the above photo?? Is that a "floating" wheel cover like they have on the McLaren Speedtail? For colour-scheme comparative purposes, one of my pics from the 2009 British GP of JB's Brawn BGP 001, which was probably the most "unsponsored" F1 car to win the World Championship since the commercial Grand Prix era began (with Team Lotus) in late 1960s View attachment 30393
Yep, exactly - for aerodynamic advantage (see here: https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/f1-tech-wheel-rim-covers-2022/7078251/)Ok this is super random and pedantic, but how is that front wheel not blurry like the back one in the above photo?? Yes - front cover floating as it has the aero cut-out to aid brake cooling. Rear attached to wheel as it is predominantly for drag reductionOk this is super random and pedantic, but how is that front wheel not blurry like the back one in the above photo?? JB's "22" is more prominent than it was on his Brawn!I LOVE this detail...
