Hello all, another San Diego joinee.

I see the occasional other Emira going through RSF aside from my buddy and I (both have Emira).
We need to organize canyon and beach drives, etc. :)

Been a member of GGLC and PCASDR too but backcountry driving are few and far between (not to mention the latter doesn't allow non P-cars :cautious:).
Do you receive emails from the San Diego Lotus Club? If not, I think you may be missing information. I've done several back country drives with them over the last year or so, including a 3 day trip, and also missed a few. But none of these were on their website, facebook page or instagram. Seems they are preferring the email communication method for whatever reason. You can reach out to them directly to get on their list or PM me and I'll give you a contact to reach out to and event schedule.

I do, though only from the San Diego chapter. It hasn't been as frequent for just weekend drives.

I wouldn't call it frequent, but would say they do many more driving events than I've seen for the Lotus Club of So Cal and because their driving events are mostly in and around San Diego, I'm preferring that to driving through LA (I'm in Orange County).

I've found that most of Lotus of So Cal's events are either in LA or north of LA.. With that said, I just did a 3 day tour with the San Diego club that took us up Angeles Crest then out to Ojai and up around the hills behind Santa Barbara and completing in Malibu, which was pretty epic.

True, San Diego doesn't have too much (Palomar, Fallbrook, Borrego), but would still be nice to get together a little more often.
I was out of town so I missed that Ojai drive (done it in the past myself, it's a blast).

The club should do track days @ Chuckwalla though 😏

I'll be sure to reach out to all of you on this thread when I plan my next drive, would be great to meet you all in person. I'm not on the SD lotus chapter email list (yet).

💯 I've done most all other Cali tracks, haven't made it out east to Chuckwalla yet.

Sounds like the RSF meet this Sat June 13 is the place to go to find out more about fellow Emira owners in SD county
I have only seen one other Emira around, a red one, near Palomar mountain. I was in my 718 Cayman (my other ride) at the time, so I wasn't able to show off my Emira. :(
Looks like it will be an Emira party! But rats, just found out my kid will be in from out of town and Saturday is his only day to visit. And yes, I thought about kidnapping him down to RSF but this would be quite unpopular with the wife. Sorry to miss it, and I’m expecting pics from those who do make it!!

Palomar is the one I want to do. Missed it the last time unfortunately. Did u go?

Let me know when you guys go to RSF again - I go 1-2 times a month with my son. Hard to miss as it’s the Dark Verdant FE with the child seat in the passenger seat.

Seen a couple of other Emiras around the SD area - one down in Normal Heights and up at RSF.

I think I did one last year, can't remember now.

Some variation of this is always fun:
