Everyone's Mod Priority List

I have send mine back for a full refund. The problems were significant enough for me to return it plus on top of that.. if you are a sole purchaser they dont give a ratsass about you… absolutely not worth all that money plus shipping plus import set me back +6000 euros. Id now rather make the car 100kg lighter and one day do a proper engine rebuilt.
I'm waiting for Komo's 430 tune. I want to see what the results are, and what kind of process/support they put in place for customers in the U.S.

Between all that weight savings and the extra HP you will be crushing anything on the road!

Kudos to all....and some incredible personalization here.
I come from the Pcar world where many feel that messing w/the car is almost sacrilege.
Not me....one of my Pcars (30 yrs ago) got cut up and modified in Germany before it even made it to US soil.
So....with my Emira 2 weeks out I have parts & pieces here and three different shops lined up in succession to effect most of the changes. She should be on the road by April.
Help, if you would on a couple of simple question......I see several here w/in-car electronics and wondering where is best place to source 'ignition-on' hard wire for radar or other. Maybe there is a thread on this but I was unable to find it.
Lastly.....for all those w/tint done can I assume you did the small windows behind the seats as well as the driver/passenger windows.....and what tint....15/30?
Thanks in advance.

And....BTW....why, on earth, does this forum app put a huge pic of my signature avatar on the bottom of my posts .
Crazy.....and I've sent this question to the 'Contact" address for this forum several times w/out response.

Nice 993, I also have a C4.

I don’t have my Emira yet, but it looks like there is a USB port by the mirror- and there are now adapter cords to power radar detectors, etc, from USB.

Mod priority:

1) “EMIRA” personalized plates, ordered 3 years ago and currently on my Miata lol

2) round steering wheel, black leather, with real buttons
Already received from GRP, just waiting for car

3) spare tire for road trips
Bought 458 Ferrari collapsible spare from ebay Japan, if it looks like it will fit behind the front seats I’ll have to enlarge centerbore

4) tweeters in A-pillars where god meant them to be

5) front ppf if the paint seems ok

6) 18” wheels if I can find some that fit or can replace or modify parking brake so they fit

First mod when you get dark, Verdon green has to be full PPF
2nd mod get rid of the screen around the shifter mechanism
Third mod should of course be the third cat delete
Fourth mod valve controller.
Fifth mod may be a set of bronze wheel to go with the dark green

I genuinely had no idea what you meant until I went to the eBay listing. I had no idea that was a thing!

Collapsible spare pioneered by BFG, first car with it was 1967 Pontiac Firebird.

My NSX, 993, and 300ZX all came with oem collapsible spares. I am an old guy, and just like having a spare tire.

Not sure it will really fit in the Emira back seat though..

Yep....it was in my Signature......thanks.
On the power, no, I am looking for an ignition-on hard wire point.
I'll probably find in the fuse block eventually. All my cars have hard wired detectors w/remotes....all w/concealed wiring.
Thanks.

In the passenger-side footwell is a panel that covers the fuse box. 4 plastic 1/4 turn fasteners, and then you have to wrestle a bit with the panel to get it out. Getting it back in properly is even harder - the bottom of it hooks into place in a channel that you can't see in the pic below because the edge of the carpet is blocking the view.

The blue 15A fuse is for the power adapter behind the center arm rest and will probably serve your needs. The fuse directly below it (not pictured - I had removed it) is for the USB outlet in the mirror housing. Both are ignition-on that you could just put an add-a-fuse in.

If you decide to get the wireless charger kit in the link below it also comes with an ignition switched power supply. It's a great product.
