Just watched a video on the new JAS Tensei, and I kept getting Emira vibes.
For anyone who hasn't come across it, it's basically an original NSX reimagined by JAS Motorsport and Pininfarina, with a new carbon-fibre body. They're only building 35 of them.
I know they're not competing in the same league—the Tensei is a super-exclusive NSX restomod. But they seem to share a lot of the same spirit: similar power and weight, mid-engine, V6, a manual gearbox, a hydraulic steering rack and a focus on enjoying the drive. The Tensei has a more exotic NA powertrain, whereas the Emira only has a supercharged Camry engine.
What do you guys think?
