Bump, because the noises the Emira makes in this 20 second video are better than all the Eletre SUV content Lotus will ever make. :p

Those are some great photos, but I'm so tired of seeing that Shadow Grey demo. It's been all over the planet these past 6 months.

The reveals from Lotus of Thailand were amazing! High production value all around and I even saw shots of a catered menu with Lotus branding. I really hope Lotus increases their US dealer network and marketing.

What's the price in Thailand for these cars anyway? (equivalent in US $)?

Anyone from Thailand here? :)

According to their Instagram, Wearnes Automotive (Lotus Thailand importer) are selling the Emira V6 FE for 11.9 million Baht.

Here's a table of how that converts based on today's mid-market rates on XE.com. This is CRAZY money. I think maybe higher than Singapore?
Model
Thai Baht
US Dollar
UK Pound
Euro
V6 First Edition
฿ 11,900,000
$ 355,411
£ 270,758
€ 324,919
I4 First Edition
฿ 9,290,000
$ 277,460
£ 211,359
€ 253,655
I4 Base Edition
฿ 7,990,000
$ 238,633
£ 181,782
€ 218,160

Apparently the sports car and supercar market in Thailand is operating on a whole other level in terms of wealth. Really puts some of the videos I've seen online of car culture there in some new perspective.

Emira on order
The prices there are eye-watering. I think their allocation for 2022 is very low too, maybe 10 or less?

That's why I asked. I know there's a high premium in these countries... only for the super-rich.
But I was not expecting THAT! :oops:

Is the Shadow Grey paint on that vehicle the same as the production cars will have?

To be fair, that one was painted by hand most likely, not with the "production" paint process. So there might be slight differences. But yes, that's the Shadow Grey color.
