Emira JB4 Tuning Now Available for I4 & V6 Cars!

It’s all good Greg. Guys on the forum know you are solid and support the community.
110% Greg is legend. He stands by his products. I ordered a Hethel Sport wing through GRP which unfortunately was damaged in transport. I sent it back but the replacement wing was also damaged in transit. Greg patiently had a third wing sent to me directly from Malaysia that arrived in great shape. Greg has earned my future business!

Just got my "Shipment on the way!" email :) Thanks @GRP
now waiting on the bracket shipping email....
but I will be installing with zip ties for now. :p

Been buying from him for over a decade always stands by his products and service

I own a lotus since 2007, I bought parts from Greg for more then a decade for several several thousand dollars and never been worried what so ever but this is not the point here.

The point is that Burger seem to fullfill people ordering from them directly faster probably because it is more profitable for them that way. As simple as that.

This is not Greg’s fault what so ever.

Stoked for a ship notification - but won’t hit my hands until Monday. Guess I will have to wait another week to start the party (or if I have a evening this week to get it in)!

I’m looking forward to my wife possibly thinking the Emira is “fast” now (Taycan GTS daily).. 💩

Oh man I'm late to the party but I caught up after 25 pages of reading :)
Thank you all for the kind words and support! We're doing our best in getting the V6 JB4 systems out in the order they come in.
As stated, a couple have gotten through while I have been making the batches for Greg@GRP.

Rest assured that we will get them all out in a timely manner and are almost caught up. The lead times will be less than 2 weeks from the time of order, till you get it to your doorstep.

I4 systems are ready to go! FWIW, with the JB4 installed on map 4 with e30 blend fuel. The car felt like my Mclaren 570s with the huge added gains.
I couldn't believe those little 4 bangers could make that much power. Looking forward to play with Kazs car when he comes in with the methanol kit!

PS, I saw talks about heatsoak on the SC when running more boost. You can run our BMS WMI kit and have the JB4 system control it. Put a mid-size nozzle in the intake system with 100% water or 50/50 mix (Water/methanol) and you'll be gold.

Does your system adjust itself to intake and exhaust conditions? For example, with an Eventuri intake and titanium exhaust (which are not factory standard) will your system automatically adjust to it, or would it need data logging and sending the files to you for adjustment?

Have you installed it yet? I was thinking of purchasing it for my Emira, would love to see how it looks on!

Several folks are interested in running JB4 without the OBD2 connection that has to be routed through the firewall. Is it safe to do so?

Map 2 (93 Oct) Quarter mile dragy run no launch

For comparison
Stock (No JB4 connected): 106.79 trap
Map 1: 109.81
Map 2: 112.80

Wild its 3mph each time almost perfectly

Thanks for posting draggy results.

What do you mean by 'no launch'? how are you keeping these run consistent?

A 6 mph trap speed improvement is pretty good

With a proper launch (I’ll advised), that would seem to put the car in the low 12s with an even higher trap speed! Nice!

All runs done on the same stretch of road starting from standstill at the same spot.

Stock run was done at 74 degrees outside with a feathered clutch dump at 3K RPM

Map 1 was at 77 degrees out at 3.5K RPM feathered clutch dump

Map 2 was done at 4K but my axle broke so on this actual recorded run after fixing the car I was at 80 degrees outside and I only had RPMs at 2K as I let out the clutch and transitioned to full throttle.

Not sure how much 500ft of DA affects the run but my Map 2 run was in the worst conditions of my runs and Stock was my best launch. Fastest 0-60 and best conditions of all my runs.

The car has more in it with a proper launch. Every single time Ive bogged down.

Here's the logged data from Map 2 you can see my early shifts aren't quite at redline either so car could have more trap in it.

Well, thats alot of detail :)

Sounds like a launch to me. What do you consider a Launch.? Just letting the clutch out completely at 3.5k-4k?

I think this car needs 5-6K for a real launch really depends on the grip of the tires. 4K is very likely not enough but I was at the limit of the axle to hold it because of whatever defect or weakness there is.
