I was checking the instructions right before reading your post, and I must say I was getting a little worried (err...yes, my bad, I did not read them before ). Removing the whole glove box doesn't sound that easy for someone like me who never disassembled anything from a car, but I'll try my best anyway. The shop is right there if things go wrong anyway

Trust me, it is very easy, you can do it!

Remove a little trim panel from the side and one inside the glovebox, no tools needed for that, just pull them with your hands. Then remove 6 screws and the glovebox comes out.

A friend came over the other day and we had it installed in his car in 15min. Granted I've done it a few times but still.
