One last update. Spent some time tweaking the universal tray enough so that it fits the S25 Ultra without compromising the other phones too much. The difference wasn’t as bad as I thought.
Here is how they all fit:
BUT, in the process I discovered/remembered another caveat... The Pixel 8 PRO phones have a very offset charging coil. This means I need to lower the charging pad location quite a bit which in turn results in all other phones sticking out the bottom an extra 7mm or so. This puts them very close to the volume knob.
So while the S25 Ultra will now fit the universal tray, the Pixel 8 PRO needs a tray of its own. Again, said tray will fit other phones but they will stick out more than necessary.
@ross7alex that means that your combination of 8 Pro with 9 Pro XL is not possible unless you’re ok with the 9 Pro XL sticking out.
@Lynxz_ this also applies to you. Just a heads up in case you were planning on using this with other phones too.
