I spent today swapping in an Eventuri cold air intake on my 2026 Emira V6 SE, and I think I spotted a manufacturing problem: The cooling hoses under the filter box are twisted. I've attached a picture.
Instead of the 1, 2, 3 routing, mine are in a 1, 3, 2 routing (see picture annotations), where the smaller hose is in the middle instead of at the end.
This I believe is causing a few issues:
1. The smaller of the hoses (3) not being retained properly, leading to...
2 Rubbing of the shifter linkage when in 5th and 6th gear. These always felt a bit soft at the extremes from the factory, but unfortunately I can no longer fully confirm after disassembly. I just know I had even worse issues after installing the new intake.
3. The big hose (2) is being pinched slightly because it can only go in the retaining clip for the smaller hose (3).
I'm hoping someone here has their own picture of a 2026 Emira V6 SE to compare. Based on Eventuri guides I've found online, the hoses are routed incorrectly.
I grabbed this from a youtube video of a 2025, and I think it has the correct routing (1, 2, 3)
