Problem with that is the cross isn't going to show, to keep everything as-is. Is that okay? If the cross is on the right side, it would be like looking at the right side of a flag.

The only way I can get the cross to show on the left side is to reduce the size of the flag, if that's okay.

That version looks the best imo. Is it possible to still introduce a similar version but with "First Edition" instead of "V6" and place a (1) on the opposite corner of the flag? If so, I'd switch to that version.

I shared my preferred design with Beefeater via DM but for the sake of the thread, I was asking for the Version 1 badge but with the lighter blue in the flag and the corrected Union Jack. Would we call that the Version 1A (corrected)?

Yeah it looks like somebody got lazy and just copied and flipped the one side instead of doing it correctly.

Here's what I came up with quickly by just literally using scissors cut & paste. The color scheme however, should follow the same as the one in the UK V6 version.
