Anybody purchase wheels from Aerie?

I think one should keep in mind that Aerie wheels are made to order (I don’t believe they keep any in stock) given that everyone orders different colors, styles, etc.

I hope everyone can continue to support these small businesses who make very specific parts for very niche cars. The more after-market support we have for Lotus, then easier the ownership for the rest of us will be.

Also, they mentioned something above about a request for special center caps that are made by someone else, and that requiring a fitment check before they dispatched everything?

I had them build a custom set of wheels based on a few photos and a sketch I had made, and they did a great job. It took longer than normal but that was because this was a design they'd never made before. They fit perfectly, the finish is excellent, and even though they aren't ceramic coated, they clean easily. I also bought their titanium muffler which shipped within a few weeks, and I'm thinking of also getting a titanium y-pipe.

Yes their delivery takes longer than normal because of overseas shipping and having to go through customs, but the stuff I've received has been worth the wait.

I ordered your design! Reminds me of the F430!!!

Thank you for making these!! Now to get them to me is taking a little bit…

Ordered february, delivered july, but for my winter wheels, it was not a problem for me ! I'm satisfied.

What are the optimal wheel offsets to push them out as much as possible? Hoping to catch the Black Friday sale.

Myself along with many others are running 12mm spacers on standard rims. At standard height I’d say 10mm front, 12mm rear is about flush. With any lowering, you can increase to maybe 12mm front, 15mm rear to be flush.

Received my V2 rims from Aerie yesterday. Took 3 months and 5 days from date of payment but some of that due to the trucking company snafu and I did pay for the cheapest/longest ship method, since I wasn’t in any hurry with cold/snow where I am for the last month or so. Very well packed in individual boxes. Looking at them out of the box, they appear flawless and beautiful and feel light weight. Fairly good communication with Aerie (they’d usually quickly respond) and great price. Anyone buying a set with a Black Friday sale price can’t go wrong IMO, with the rims very reasonably priced to start with. Just compare to others who sell lighter weight mono-block forged rims made of 6061 T6 aerospace aluminum.

Note: no incentive from or affiliation with Aerie prompted this “review”; just a satisfied customer.

I’m also a fan of GRP; we’re ++ lucky to have several after market sellers who cater to the Lotus crowd when so many others won’t bother with a lower production vehicle.

I’ve ordered 2 sets of wheels from them. Production time each time was about 4-6 weeks before delivery. I would set the expectation that delivery times may vary with where you are based as Jason is based out of Asia. Shipping larger and heavier items can really vary in time based on where you are located. If you are ordering custom designed wheels, expect the process and manufacturing time to be even longer.

I also found Jason to be very communicative on WhatsApp.

Quality-wise I found both sets of wheels to be well manufactured and the paint finish (bronze and champagne gold) was excellent.

My advice would to be a bit more patient as the wheels are really worth waiting for.

Do you have any other photos with the bronze V2 wheels showing the whole car that you can post? I am considering this and the gunmetal finishes on a Seneca blue Emira.
