How did you remove the warning signs? People have mentioned that it's basically impossible to remove on US cars.I was able to remove (most) of the yellow stickers from my Sunvisor's, or I would have asked him to have those wrapped also.
It was a major PITA unlike others that I removed in the past. I used a number of solvents, ended up with denatured alcohol. I'm not sure just how much that helped but it may have softened it a bit. Basically, I scratched at it with my fingernails and also a small plastic bondo applicator and it came off very slowly. It took several hours, maybe 3 to fully remove them. These things are essentially baked on. I also put them in a plastic bag after soaking them for a while to see if that helped. How did you remove the warning signs? Ive asked for cost and availability for the sunvisors and display surround trims to see what we can do.I would definitely be interested in one with Alcantara and yellow stitching but depends on the price of course.
I am interested in pricing for the gauge cluster wrapped in alcantara with yellow stitching and sunvisors as well. I would then purchase the alcantara shift boot which you already have available. Thanks so much @Rapture !
If anyone else wants to do something similar we can offer the same service for most any interior items.
We could wrap yours if you send them in or possibly provide a brand new oem full replacement as well (so as long as they are available to get from our Lotus parts source)
Contrast stitching is available, leather, alcantara and those materials in multiple colors.
Matching different leather colors of the interior exactly may be difficult since our upholstery shop doesnt have access to the oem materials like Tillett does for the seats.
