I got this today from a dealer. It does say however that the photo does not depict the actual look of the vehicle, so still a mystery.

It also says not been announced. Imagine giving a dealer $2500 for at least 12 months for a product not even announced by the manufacturer.

The guys at GLI (Glenview Luxury Imports) don't seem like the type to simply collect/hold deposits on a fictitious product they alone conjured up. I'm sure they've heard something is coming.......that being said we all know how reliable information is when it comes to the world of Lotus, even when the source of that info is the MFG itself let alone a dealer.

FWIW I've had my ups and downs with GLI as a dealer, which fortunately has been more positive as of late.

Looks like it is an i4 based on the engine cover. Would be interested to add some of the lips and what not to my v6. If it does have the ohlins, I think they will be specific to the i4 chassis.

Yeah, it's an abomination. There is nothing good about it. not the styling, not the price, and honestly. Maybe the performance will be good with 4 individual electric motors and a combined 1035hp. But ugh. Couldn't find a better designer?

Read the Lotus website. It is a removable panel. I know it looks like a sunroof in that photo, but it isn't.

"Echoing the legendary Lotus Esprit, a removable roof is now available as an option."

I don't see how Lotus could have been any clearer!

Liking all the orange highlights (pinstripes on the black aero, orange calipers, seatbelts, etc). Not a big fan of the "I wanna be a C8" side intake extensions or the "I wanna be a GT4 RS" front wheel arch vents from an aesthetics point of view , although I know many on the forum like this stuff. Different strokes for different folks of course, but for me it clutters up the smooth lines of the car. Seem many/most of the performance bits have already been accomplished as add ons in the aftermarket, did I get that right? Although not sure about these which seem interesting: "Aero enhancements deliver a 30% increase in exhaust valve cooling airflow, 15% increase in airflow to outboard radiators, improved cooling". Is this solely due to the side intake extensions?

I do actually like the overall look of the car and the performance mods are obviously coming straight from the aftermarket enthusiasts, so I guess time will tell how the price it and the demand they see. Just too bad no manual which is still a show stopper for me, but I won't belabor that sore point. Oh and one more thing: where do you put that removable sunroof?

The exhaust valve cooling is probably a larger duct on the under tray. Will need pics under the car or part# comparisons

Getting more cooling in the exhaust section is a good thing.
