They could be lighter but i wanted them to be as strong as possible for track use.That's pretty good.

wider selection of semi slicks/slicks and usually cheaper in the sizing we want. Saving monies in the long term if tracking more than a few times a year.What is the advantage of the smaller wheels? I remember when wheels on cars were typically smaller and fitted with larger profile tyres. The trend was to modify cars with larger wheels to improve the handling.
Now the trend is to go the other way?
