This pic surfaced in another thread and the consensus was that this is Dark Verdant in the sun. There were some who thought it could be the Gray. I'm red/green color blind so I am not confident in my ability to form an opinion. Would appreciate others thoughts on the matter.

I would love to discover that the tour car is actually a different gray, because I agree that they shadow gray on the configurator is awesome. I didn't care for the gray on the tour car.

I actually moved to Dallas, TX since ordering the car. I visited the Dallas dealer last week and they do have the color discs and interior samples there. They were good to see in person, but I think the configurator is more helpful, as you can actually see the color on the car even if not 100%...

You make a fair point. I had not before considered that these pre-production cars probably needed to be sent out into the world at least a year before productions cars were being produced. That's a lot of time for Lotus to dial in a final product. If the fit and finish is on par with the Evora...

Several months ago, I was cranky with the FE price of $94k, but having placed my deposit some time ago with an MSRP agreement from the dealer, I'm feeling a lot more comfortable given you can't get any car for less than MSRP today and have to wait for everything...

Hard to say. I placed an early deposit and am currently #4 at my dealership. Got the email from Lotus a few weeks back which stated that my order was confirmed and to be ready to complete my order "in the fall' so I assume the $83k they stated is the FE V6 pricing given that the only option...

I think you are right, as I inquired with Lotus via email and their response was "We are still awaiting confirmation for pricing but will commence from US$83,000, however in the next couple of weeks the configuration tool for the Emira will be fully available."
