Removing factory seat and installing Tillet B10-tips and tricks

Anyone know if Jubu or anyone else is close on solving this puzzle for us on this side of the pond (i.e., US market)?
We have it solved in our shop car. Just did a 200 mile trip last weekend and it worked flawlessly so we are working on putting together kits now.
Trying to get our hands on a particular part is proving to be tough but we should know more on Monday hopefully.
Our kit keeps the dash airbag working like oem -- off with nobody or little weight in the seat and turns on when an adult sits in the car.

kitkat's Emira

Here’s a fun one, I’ve been working on a touchscreen oled dial for the Emira when you have a Milltek valve controller.

This controller has support to:
- Act as a new third remote for your Milltek valve controller (default behavior)
- Act as a clone of an existing remote

- Swipe through valve modes (Open, Closed, OEM)
- 1 second press to emergency switch to closed and 1 second press to go back to the mode you were at before.
- User configurable quiet zones for making your exhaust quiet when you’re at home or within close proximity to a fixed sound check at the race track.

I’m still working on some hardware, small software tweaks, and where to mount — got a couple options there.

Emira - Louvered Polycarbonate Hatch Glass Replacement

Thank you all for the positive words!

The design is not changing as i have invested in the molds used to produce the product already for this project.

The fit and finish are the only variables that will be adjusted prior to final production.

the inspiration came from the Ferrari F40 rear hatch glass, so it may not be your cup of tea if you don't fancy the F40.

What did you do to your Emira today?

I have been playing around with various Garmin locations, but I think I finally found a decent spot. I also finally got her registered and tagged. (Only took me 5 months to do so!)

I'm pretty pumped nobody had taken the Type 131 plate!

Vivianna Bpsk Forged Wheels

Finally took some photos of these new wheels from Bspk.

I got gloss black, 20" with the fronts sticking out +12mm and the rears +14mm. I have an I4 but the sizing will look the same on either platform (John will calculate offest based on your platform). Super easy transaction, order, he confirms the details...a couple months later the wheels show up expertly packed and well protected. I also used the oem tpms from GRP (worked immediately).

I'm using AD09's for this round...was going to do A052 but I like how long the AD09's last, they are super sticky but endurance rated almost. At first glance non-car, even Emira folk will think these are just the stock V wheels but the spokes have an elegant shape and don't meet up in V pairs. There is just slight concavity in the rear that doesn't exist in the stock wheels. Also I think the fronts have another 2-3mm to come out depending on camber...same with rear could probably do +15, +17 with camber...maybe more (I think someone has done more?)

Ferrari 488 pista vs Emira V6

I have a good friend with a 488 and I’ve driven his car a few times. Starting with the shape of the car, then the performance, the Ferrari interior with carbon details, etc., I’d say you can’t compare wit it, even if at first glance the shapes look quite similar, as you can see in the photo.

But the 488 is wider, longer, and lower, which gives it a more aggressive, sportier look than the Emira.

That said, the Emira is still beautiful, and here in Dubai it probably attracts more looks than a 488, which is more common and doesn’t stand out as much to people who aren’t really into cars.

So yeah, they do look similar, but only within reasonable limits. When it comes to everyday fun, I think the choice could be pretty even.

Used 24 FE V6 vs new 25 vs new 26

From someone looking into an MCPURA/MC20 and an Emira, I am sorry, but I will go against everyone here and tell you to get a 2026 SE model.

First off, First Edition of any cars are not recommended. There was a lot of issues with seals, paint quality, engine thermostats and cooling system, leather quality, AC trouble without talking about the unknowns.

Secondly, you still need to pay taxes at your DMV anyway, so for a clear comparison, you should just compare the retail prices of the cars.

Thirdly, the Masserati will depreciate like crazy and the maintenance cost will be multiple times higher than the Lotus, not to mention way more unreliable.

I ordered my 2026 i4 SE Raceline fully equiped (Blackpack, KEF, 15 spoke wheels, red seat belt, Alcatera interior) for 103 000 USD (145 000 CAD) all inclusive before taxes. Buying the 2024 i4 FE would only have saved me about 12 500 USD (18 000 CAD) while having less than 8000 CAD of options and a color configuration that I hate.

For me, the choice was simple, not having my custom configuration was a deal breaker.
