Update to limp mode. After due diligence my lotus dealer concluded that the stock valve controller melted due to extreme temperatures when tracking the car. The fuse blew as well tracking in 70 degree weather after 3 track runs.
The GRP titanium exhaust runs hotter than the stock exhaust so they recommended wrapping it. The Arie diffuser does not have the ducting that the stock diffuser has so the cooling is not as good. They recommend going back to stock or modifying it to help cool the rear.
Milltek has been cleared of causing the issue, but you should definitely get Version 2 and wrap the wires.
They disconnected the valve controller so I have to live with a check engine light, but limp mode is not there now and code was cleared. Anyone else who hasn’t had this issue hasn’t been thrashing their car to this level. Who else is in this position?

Sounds like the aerie diffuser lacking ventilation in conjunction w the titanium exhaust is making things a little too spicy out back.

In the aerie diffuser carbon? Not very airy

Hard to drill in carbon maybe? I’ve never tried

Diffuser is carbon fiber
Valve controller only comes with full exhaust from factory.
Does anyone know where you can buy the valve controller by itself?

What's the best way to wrap the wires on the Milltek V2 Controller? (material)

Any downside to just using gold heat reflective tape do you think?
I suppose that would work well too since as it's definitely a good insulator against radiant heat. The only downside that I can think of is that it could be a bit challenging to wrap around and stay in place when placing it on such thin wiring strands.
