Here's an interesting article from November 2022 with an interview of Matt Windle where he talks about adding dealerships in the U.S. This is the relevant part from the article (bold emphasis is mine):
"What potential annual volume is Lotus expecting in the U.S. once you get all your vehicles launched?
The potential is huge. I think we could be doing 10,000 cars a year over here. So, I mean, we’ve seen it already. We’ve got 10,000 deposits for Emira, globally. The U.S. is the biggest market for that. There’s been good uptake on the Eletre already even though it’s not going to be here for a few years. The U.S. has always been a very, very important market for Lotus.
How will Lotus’ dealer network change with the influx of new...
quote from today's pistonheads article:
The Emira’s fate is also not decided. Johnstone said that Lotus’s current plans were for it to have minimal overlap with the Type 135 that arrives in 2026, potentially being axed before the company reaches its 80th anniversary in 2028. Given the delays in getting it into production - and the fact the AMG-powered four-cylinder version hasn’t arrived yet - that would represent a very short lifespan for a new model. But he later admitted that the EU’s change to allow sales of new cars powered by so-called e-fuel to survive the combustion engine ban may provide an extension.
“I wouldn’t rule anything out, and that is definitely something that the engineering team is aware of,” he said, “one issue is...
Good news for all UK orders confirmed yesterday by Oakmere. Cars are coming directly to the dealers from the factory, for the dealer PDI and no longer travelling to BCA Oxford. Finally some common sense.

The third Emira to arrive in Spain, in dark verdant the truth looks so beautiful, in fact it is the color that I have in mind to configure my BE :)
Two hours ago some images came out in the post that number 3 came out, but they deleted the publication, I imagine because sensitive customer data came out
Hi All,
Hoping any people with a narrow single garage can help.
I have a very narrow entry to my garage (2130mm), so it will just fit with 5cm each side with Emira mirrors in!!
It opens up to 2900 mm once in, so hopefully enough room to allow the driver out if I drive in at a slight angle.
Regardless, it’s going to be very tight. Depth is not an issue, it’s the entry width I’m concerned about.
Wondered if anyone has come across any good driver aids/lasers etc to help? Other than perhaps putting some very thin foam or carpet on the garage entrance walls which is more damage limitation than preventative.
I’ve been researching but there don’t seem to be many. I’ve found one laser which sticks to the side of your garage and beeps...
