Gotta be careful though. I installed vertical doors on my Fiat Abarth in 2014 and lost about 30% of full door opening. When Vertical Doors finally released a kit for the Alfa 4C, there was one guy who decided to install the kit despite my many warnings about drilling into the CF monocoque for the vertical door brackets and the potential significant loss of door opening. Unlike the lightness of the Abarth door, the 4C door was comparatively also very heavy.
That guy installed it anyway on his 4C and instantly regretted it and said he would definitely not recommend it. Even with the door being able to go vertical and because the 4C monocoque has such a wide door sill to overcome with ingress and egress, he basically had to crawl below the vertical door to get in or out. His door only opened about 20% of full opening because of the limitations of the front quarter panel and the vertical door bracket.
I would assume the Emira would have the same limitations with door weight, door hinge location, front quarter panel positioning, wide doorsills, lowered bolstered seats, etc. that would make the bracket and mechanism Vertical Doors uses for all its vehicle applications miserable for the driver and passenger. The ZLR kit looks promising but the Vette door is larger top to bottom than the Emira allowing for those struts to be further apart.
