Door Handle Failure

My drivers side went after 36.000km.
I've warranty till Dec., but won't be driving after October, so the passenger side gonna be paid by me.
Bonkers there is no active recall for a known factory defect, but I guess money is tight

Just pull the handle a few hundred times, that should do it

Reviving an old thread as I am sure more and more people are now going to be seeing this with higher mileage Emiras. I just passed 15,000 miles and my drivers side door now does this.. Guess I now have to add that to the list of things to get fixed under warranty.. Just fear taking it in for all these things and they do the software updates and that breaks something worse.. Right now all my things are minor issues rather than big issues so i can deal with them for now.. but the software updates scare me..

It only takes the dealer about an hour to fix - I was told it was a spring failure. I suspect the passenger door will go at some time. I now tell the wife to crawl through the window to avoid it being used.

I thought the same and held off any updates for a year or so. Just recently got up to date on everything and nothing broke

How long has it been since you did all the updates? Just curious. I am about to bite the bullet and take it in for all the things and I know it's A LOT of software updates.

One month today and did something like 2.000km since
11/22 build and went through every problem there was, probably discovered a few in the first place lol

I've had my car for over 2 years now so I guess it is my turn. My driver's door handle spring seems to have broken as of a few days ago. Time to call the dealer.
