Who are "The Drivers"

Three days shy of my one year anniversary, Winston hits a milestone. 😃

Who are the drivers? Easy, anyone who buys a Lotus, particularly an Emira ;)

The Lotus will never be my daily Driver.

But as soon as I get the full PPF installed and get it on a different wheel/tire set so I can save the cup2s for the track then I’ll drive it on every nice day I go somewhere. And I’ll visit the circuits near me like Road America, Autobahn CC, Blackhawk Farms….

But there is a reason I bought a used Model S Plaid as my daily. 9 seconds 1/4 mile, seats 5 comfortably with plenty of luggage. And so cheap to drive. Costs like 4 cents per mile to drive. Honestly the best daily driver I’ve ever owned. When it wears out I’ll trade it in for the next EV appliance. I don’t feel bad starting the Plaid up to make a 1 mile trip to the grocery store at all. The only non-EV I could see replacing it with is a Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo Turbo S E-Hybrid.

Nothing wrong with a solid daily driver. My dad had a Ford LTD wagon and a Chrysler Town&Country minivan.

December 22 build and my daily driver although we also have a Mini Cooper Sport. 12,620 very happy miles since delivery and a nice outing last week to Goodwood Festival of Speed!

Answering the question in the head post, I have probably driven it less than 10 miles since I bought it a week ago.

(I drove it straight to get PPF and the wait is painful)

Same, my 10 yo Model S (Ludicrous, not plaid) is heavy but fast in a straight and is stupidly practical and economical. I haul kids and dog so Emira couldn’t even if it tried.
