What did you do to your Emira today?

My setup is a cheap set of this from Amazon.

and I bounce between these two cleaner depending on how dirty they were.

I'll spray the wheels with water to get all the loose dirt off, give it a minute for the water to run off and spray on the cleaner and work on the spokes, caliper with small brush and then the inside of the wheel with the large long one.

I tried a bunch of other wheel cleaners but none of them is really spray and rinse. I'm 66 and it's a bit tiring even sitting on a stool but I can do all 4 wheels in about 20 minutes and the whole car in about 1 1/2 hour taking it easy.

Drove the Emira back to back with my new BMW daily which I collected a couple of days ago. The Emira is of course a far more engaging and exciting car to drive. Where the Beemer smashes it though is effortless torque: 480 lb-ft available from little over tick over. Perhaps one day the Emira may get that level of twist if they ever stick a V8 in the back as was hinted at this week

I hope you’ve got the rear fender PPF covered because that area just below the intake will get peppered with stones from the front wheels.

Living in NJ we have to many speed bumps to even think of lowering Emira...More show up every year..
Can not Believe NJ Interstate does not have them yet ...Better watch what I say.

Wheels are coming from Aerieperformance.com. V2 that I have on my Evora. Waiting for a special order for them for the Emira as well...

Today I replaced the annoying touch-sensitive wheel key clusters with button type ones, very happy with the result. More details here.

I also reminded myself that after modding my Elise in so many ways I promised myself to leave the Emira stock, car mods are a slippery slope and a money pit. But those touch-sensitive buttons were so annoying I think this was justified.

Agreed. This mod fixed probably the only thing that actually annoyed me about the car. Totally worth it (and a shame this wasn't how it came from the factory).
