3.5 Air Filter - did you know?

I've had a new OEM air filter on backorder at Bell and Colvill for going on 2 months now, sounds like they have some parts supply issues.

Very expensive piece of paper The cabin filter is also $50 (with banana for scale). It's tiny.

That filter is not going to fit IMHO, I changed mine and the corner slant is not that big

Thats an Evora air filter, it wont fit an Emira.
The dealer must have just ASSumed they are the same.

Oh, that's lame. I was going to put it in this weekend, haven't gotten around to it yet. I guess it's time to return this expensive piece of paper.

I'm wondering -- I see the newer Emira's have an intake screen whereas the 2024 models do not (it's an open hole to the intake tube). Is just the screen an option? Was this a design flaw Lotus corrected? Is mine simply missing??! View attachment 67908

Here in the UK, all the i4's all have that mesh, the v6's do not...

I went back to the dealer, and yeah, they said they made a mistake and gave me the correct filters. The Emira filters are more expensive than the Evora filters, and they were nice enough just to swap them. The Emira filters are both Lotus specific parts, no Toyota analogue. It looks like the cabin filter is the same shape as the Emira's, just a different kind of pleating.
