How did you secure it so it wasn't flopping around? screws, zip tie...etc?

Grrr, paper clip isn't doing the trick for me, all of mine are too large for the 20pin connector.

Bought a pin tool set and none of them fit the connector.

Kinda looks like a ATX 24 pin connector for a computer, but much smaller, and only 20 pins. None of which I have a pin tool for.

I'm still really salty that something like this which is going to be installed outside the cabin is not a waterproof unit already with weather pack connectors all around. Especially at the price they charge.

I'm digging through my drawers, looking for a Silica packet. Might have to break down find a bag of chips or something that has a packet. Want to put the packet inside the box to absorb moisture.

I got a 3D printed one from a member on here, works perfectly - Hit up @wings19 - I did end up sealing the whole thing with automotive seal/gasket maker so it is NO doubt weather and water proof!

Just a reminder. If you are going to attempt this and are using a box that will require you to de-pin the harness, do NOT get anything but this tool:

I tried 2 tool kits before this one, 100% junk they screwed up my receptacle to the point where I had to re-crimp 3 terminals, and buy a new receptacle since it damaged the original.

The one below fits perfectly into the cavity, and the plunger will pop the pin out in 1 seconds with an incredibly satisfying click. All the others require you to fit an ill fitting de-pin tool in there, then yank on the wire.
