Hey folks, we are designing a better lid for Evora / Emira Supercharger.
We have both vehicles here in house, and will be doing before/after dyno on these.

Some info:
- Increased lid volume
- enhanced flow control
- Custom designed Flow fins in the intercooler and sub section for bypass
- CAD modeled and CFD Tested
- Billet CNC with Color options
- Made in the USA
- 100mm rotor exit side with specially designed concave 60mm plenum that evenly directs flow across the intercooler.

Note, this image is not a finalized piece.

Thanks everyone!

Very interesting. Looking forward to seeing the finished product, and how you approach the whole package of options.

Are you thinking you will get a minimum of 7 extra horse power? What will pricing be around? Will this affect warranty?
A minimum of 7 horsepower? That's a wash.
We are looking to maximize what can be done compared to the stock lid.

Having powder coated my OEM lid to color match, I think any improved after-market replacement lid should be absolutely outlawed (lol). Consider offering different Emira colors if you want your sales to skyrocket (hint : Vivid Red is a VERY nice color).

How does the oem look like? Flat surface?

There will be several anodized color options :)
Any carbon fiber options? I didn't buy any of the existing CF covers because they're just an entire layer over the stock one, and I'd prefer something that leaves the text and lines exposed or in a different color.

I'm intrigued. I've never heard of swapping SC lids but some internet searching indicates its a thing and that it can produce gains.

You know what would be super awesome... a supercharger lid that extended further to the left to make the engine look centred under the glass. Yes, this would soothe my OCD enough that I would pay good money for such a thing 😅

But then you'd also have to sit further to the left.... 😁

carbon fiber lid we are not considering at this time, due to so many heat cycles we can't guarantee it would last forever without any cracking around the bolt holes.
Second with that would be..cracking around the bolt holes over time., and the oil exposure.

finally, cost. A custom CF piece like this with the internal ribbing could be extremely expensive.

Would there be any potential weight savings vs OEM?

We have not tested weight yet, but I am quite confident there will be weight savings, the stock lid is surprisingly heavy. I'll get the lid weight in a moment.

Also I will post the final design images here later today, and pricing if anyone wants to pre-order. your pre-order will be fully refundable if there is no benefit (we will dyno our bone stock Emira before/after).
