Mine was tacked onto the sticker price. I suspect that was the case for most as it is a mandatory Lotus fee.I’m surprised there is no $2,350 destination fee, which is charged by lotus corp

The destination fee is a Lotus NA fee, not a dealer fee. Everyone gets that tacked onto the sticker.I’m surprised there is no $2,350 destination fee, which is charged by lotus corp
My dealer told me they only work with one installer, I guess I should double check if they still warranty the paint work if that installer is used.Lol I got the same story from my dealer about "Nano Fusion" PPF. They can't all be the only one right?
I'm getting the Lotus Guard/Starshield as well. I heard it would be Lotus branded like the old port-added Starshield. Did you check the corners and see the little Lotus roundels embedded in the film? I'm curious if they are really there.Picking it up tomorrow. They did the Starshield PPF at the dealer. Said it is the only PPF warranteed for any paint issues after that fact. View attachment 38844
My car is Dark Versant…I only notice it on the roof at certain angles. The car I saw the other day in Miami had a ton of orange peel. If my car comes that way, I’ll probably live with it, but it was noticeable, so a little concerning.
There is, it's wrapped into his MSRP.I’m surprised there is no $2,350 destination fee, which is charged by lotus corp
See this is what I thought as well, and they described this as being the exact same film and service that you're talking about, but they called it Nano Fusion PPF. Which seems to be from a company called Diamond Shield rather than Starshield. Very, very confusing.I'm getting the Lotus Guard/Starshield as well. Will you offer your thoughts on the quality of the PPF install? Are the edges visible? Thank you.Picking it up tomorrow. They did the Starshield PPF at the dealer. Said it is the only PPF warranteed for any paint issues after that fact. View attachment 38844

I loved the detailing from the factory collection, but I’d rubbed out half of it getting in and out.. 3D printer to the rescue! I’m going to make a few more tweaks so the bottom acts as a guide against the rubber, but I’m quite chuffed with the result 😃 Happy to post the STL file once it’s...www.emiraforum.com

Mine is getting done in the next few days so I'll report back on what I learn.See this is what I thought as well, and they described this as being the exact same film and service that you're talking about, but they called it Nano Fusion PPF. Hello all,
New to the forum. Been lurking since the car was announced a few years ago.
I managed to get a reservation for V6 FE 2.0 6MT in California. I started calling all the dealers in the US the Monday the first US deliveries started. I wanted to place a deposit when the car was announced in 2021, however I never went through with it.
I was able to secure a "pre-ordered" car by the dealer. I am not sure what exactly this means. I am assuming it was an allocation for the dealer to eventually have on the floor and sell from the showroom. Please correct me if I'm wrong. They said no changes can be made to the order spec at this time.
I was promised an April 2024 build date with a June / July delivery. Does this make sense to you guys? I submitted a deposit and I have a submission / order ID number. Is there any other information that can be provided to me? What are the current build timelines? Is there an order tracking website? I do not have a VIN yet. Will I get a Lotus gift package?
Thanks!
