Agree. I’m not saying anything about the people who posted, BUT, insiders with good intel don’t put it in writing. US cars parked at port…..better check those FE brakes
I do tend to believe that they are indeed building quite a lot of US cars. What we've experienced in the past when they have passed over building US cars is that other customers get "pleasantly surprised" with an earlier-than-expected build and delivery date. However, we have not heard of similar stories recently. Indeed, we've heard more stories of delays and ensuing cancellations, with Lotus' cancellation department lamenting about being overwhelmed.
If the factory is running full tilt and other people's cars are not getting built, then it stands to reason that they are indeed building US cars.

Who puts "children and pets" in a car like this?According to Lotus, the paint that comes out of the factory is not good enough; In the UK there is an option for extra ceramic coating prior to delivery; in the USA this has to be done locally by the dealer. If this is a known issue it should be included as part of the standard cost and done by default at the factory.

When he says "problem is we don't know which 11", we all assume he means he doesn't know which 11 that they ordered for their clients. Knowing Lotus, it could literally mean they may end up with 11 Emiras that are not even meant for his dealership, much less North America. Probably going to end up with 11 400hp I4s with NYO badges.

based on what was stated, thats from him Sales rep from his US based lotus dealer. if my sales text me that info, I would tell her to F** Off no? why don't you ask him for more Concrete validation.
