To PPF or not to PPF

Is it normal to have relief cuts in PPF? My car is getting PPF.. I went to check on it.. saw these relief cuts around rear engine glass... normal?

Some patterns are better than others. I would ask your installer about this if they adjust anything on the template

Yes, that's consistent with the 3m pattern
